" UTILIZING A POSITIVE PSYCHOLOGY APPROACH PROVIDES UNIQUE OPPORTUNITIES TO EXPLORE AND UNDERSTAND THE FACTORS THAT ALLOW FOR RESILIENCE IN THE FACE OF CHALLENGES, COPING STRATEGIES WHEN ADVERSITY IS FACED, AND POSITIVE GROWTH AFTER EXTREME ENVIRONMENT EXPOSURE."
THE PIKES PEAK CHAPTER OF THE ASSOCIATION OF THE UNITED STATES ARMY WHOLEHEARTEDLY SUPPORTS THIS FORWARD-LOOKING CONCEPT AS AN EFFECTIVE MEANS TO SUCCESSFULLY NAVIGATE THROUGH LIFE'S TOUGHEST TESTS AND CHALLENGES.

The days have gone by since being back on land from this epic adventure. Every day that goes by a little more comes back to me to reflect on about the trip. It is still hard to believe that we actually crossed an ocean with nothing more than man power. The hardest challenge I have ever put myself through, I think to myself what an amazing accomplishment, never in my wildest dreams would I have thought I would be a part of something so amazing. The most amazing thing and the most important to me is how awesome it is to look back on the teamwork we had together on the ocean. The honor it is to be a part of the veteran community. To be able to say that anything we want to do together can be accomplished. To know that together we will fight for the lives of our brothers and sisters and together we can defeat the enemy within ourselves. Fight Oar Die will not stop rowing the oceans until our veteran community stops taking their lives. Fight Oar Die will not stop rowing the oceans until our brothers and sisters in need get what they need to decide to live and continue to do amazing things for themselves, their families and this great country of ours.
